A dinner for my son coming back from camping

The dinner we had today was to celebrate my teenager son (the older one) coming back from camping (it was the first time he was away with the girlfriend). I started with my simplified version of Cullen Skink, which is a thick soup we discovered during a travel in Scotland. In practice it consists of onions, smoked fish and potatoes boiled in milk. Bay leaves, parsley and black pepper contribute to its unique flavor. Then we had Italian risotto (rice) with large shrimps, which my wife likes a lot. The rice is cooked using a broth made with the heads of shrimps, plus vegetables and spices. I added the shrimps, cooked briefly in white wine with garlic and parsley, right before the rice was done. To finish we had a mix of fried fishes and potatoes roasted in the oven with garlic and rosemary.
