My greatest achievement would be moving across the country when I graduated college to accept a position as a middle school geography teacher- without knowing anyone in the new, big, city. I had applied and was hired over the phone, so I hadn’t even seen my classroom until I packed up my car and drove the 30 hours to Las Vegas, Nevada. It took a lot of guts to move away from all of my friends and family in a small southeast Michigan town, and into a strange, diverse city. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
These dolphins are smart, courageous animals that can swim close to the shore and interact with humans, or they can swim in a pod out in the open ocean- hunting prey or frolicking in the surf with their friends and families. Dolphins can ward off shark attacks with their natural instincts and snouts adapted to puncturing the cartilage bodies of sharks. Also, these dolphins don’t have many predators hunting them, and they seem to just enjoy their lives swimming around the oceans and migrating for reproduction. Plus, they live in warmer climates.

I believe there is an idea of heaven, but instead of walking around in clouds- as some movies portray heaven, I think it is more or less a cloud of energy. This cloud of energy is a mass of collected souls that are interacting with each other, awaiting their next step. Since we (our souls) are energy, and energy can neither be created nor destroyed, the positive (or good) souls go to heaven. The negative energy (bad souls) is sucked into black holes. Heaven isn’t located on Earth, but I imagine it would be within our universe. Sometimes souls can come back to Earth because energy can be in motion.
I’ve been friends with Alice for years. Since freshman camp, in fact, at the very beginning of college. We get along and still hang out frequently. However, everyone has at least one quirk that can drive you crazy after a while. These quirks are not usually discussed. They are swept under the rug, unspoken. Still, no matter how good of friends you are, sometimes you just want to scream. For my part, I would love to tell Alice that she focuses way too much on pairings and fanfic in relation to anime. Sure, you can contemplate interesting match ups between characters, but really isn’t the show itself what we’re watching for? I enjoy anime because it often has deeper plot and character development. Flailing about character match ups and poorly written fan fics definitely detracts from that aspect of anime.
