After my alarm went off 5 times today, my boyfriend finally came in and got me out of bed. I got dressed, and drove 40 minutes to my school campus at the University of Maryland in College Park. I spoke to my advisor about my plans for next semester, and then drove 40 minutes back to my hometown to get my brother from his elementary school. When he finally got out, I drove 30 minutes back to my school to see if I could catch my professor during his office hours, and when I was almost there I realize his office hours were over when I thought they began. So, I turned around and drove the 30 minutes back home in traffic.
The common cold can be an annoying, uncomfortable experience. This condition usually lasts anywhere from a couple days to 3 weeks. Some of the side effects associated with the common cold are runny nose, congestion, coughing, fever, headache, fatigue. Fortunately, the cold is easily treated. Unfortunately, there is no cure for the cold; it will have to run its course. Some ways to treats the symptoms of a cold are using a cool or warm mist humidifier, or sitting in a steam room to relieve some congestion. At night, you could raise your pillow to avoid coughing. Lastly, you can try saline nasal mist. The mist gets sprayed in the nose and will help any congestion run out for temporary relief. You may consider calling your health care physician if your cold persists longer than expected or you feel that you may have an infection. You will need antibiotics to fight an infection.
Some states are just boring and some have all the fun. My state does not have all the fun. Where I live the things to do are few and far between. The options are limited. In order to have something to do, you should go to the city. In the city, you can go to a night club. There are many night clubs to choose from. You can go to a dance/hip hop clubs, rock clubs or adult entertainment clubs. Also, there is an aquarium, museums and halls. If you do take a trip to city you could make a day trip out of it. Also, local people sometimes have parties or bon fires. Also, in my state, you could have a dinner and go to a movie with a spouse or friends. There are many local movie theatres to choose from. Lastly, you can get involved in a recreational activity, like sports. Sports are a way to stay active and meet new friends.
I have worn a couple of different outfits today. I started out in my pajamas this morning. These pajamas have M&M characters on them. After my shower, I changed into sweat pants and a t-shirt with a jacket. I need to dress warm because I had yard work to do and the temperatures where I live are now at or below freezing. I wore sweat pants and a t-shirt so I didn’t ruin any good clothes. After my yard work I changed into regular blue jeans and a long sleeved shirt with a jacket. I wore polka dot socks and boots to keep warm. Later in the day when I got back home, I changed into another pair of jeans because I spilled my drink from lunch on myself. Those were my many outfits of the day.
