My dog Princess is a true queen. She is a tan & white Chihuahua. She is the boss of the house & tells my cat Blue what to do. She thinks she can bark at anyone & anything. Princess is a pitbull trapped in a Chihuahua’s body. She’s like guard dog & extremely aggressive for her size. I’m glad she’s an eight pound dog & not a 100 pound pitbull. She eats anything you drop on the floor or anything you leave available to her. She is extremely possessive of everything. She’s not willing to share her toys, food, and water with anyone. She’s also extremely possessive of her crate, but enjoys dog cologne and deodorant spray. Princess was rescued from a bad environment. Princess grew up in a cage with no freedom & full of her feces. She had to protect her food from a pitbull triple her size. She learned these bad habits from this experience. I’m glad I have her now but it’s a huge process & it’s extremely hard to break her out of these bad habits.
Last weekend I enjoyed some decompression time with my family. My husband and I slept in on both days, and our son didn’t wake up too early, either! I gave into a pregnancy craving for Sunday’s breakfast and enjoyed a Hotcake Platter from McDonald’s. It was extremely tasty, and perfect in every way. For the majority of Saturday, we played games as a family – both the traditional board-type games and video games. We watched Bolt together, for the fifth or sixth time. On Sunday we went shopping for my son, who starts preschool next week. My little boy, who is getting too big too quickly, picked out his school supplies and grabbed a “Go, Diego, Go” backpack. I didn’t even know that he liked Diego! We then headed to Old Navy to do some clothes shopping and picked up three new outfits at a great price. My husband grilled the most delicious chicken breasts for dinner. We spent time together that night, just talking. It was the perfect weekend!
Fluffy is a mutt, but one of the best ones you will find. She was born May 07, 1997. I got her when she was 6 weeks old. She was one of my neighbors dogs puppies. Fluffy went everywhere with me. She would ride on my shoulders in the car. When my son was born, she turned into an outside dog. When I took her to have her fixed, she stood about a foot high and tried to climb on my shoulders then. I told her she was too big for that. She has been a great dog and loves to flaunt her winter dog coat. Once when my son was about 2 years old, he was sitting on a bench and I was trying to tie his shoe. He kept kicking his leg back and forth making it impossible. Fluffy walks up and stands so that my sons foot was propped on her back so I could tie his shoe. After the shoe was tied, she walked off. She is very protective of us. Now that she is on in her years, she can hardly get around. I am just going to hate to see her go. She is the best dog that I have ever owned.
Dogs replace their baby teeth with permanent one between the ages of four to seven months. It is better to clean with dog toothpaste or a baking-soda water combination once a week. Make use of a child’s soft toothbrush, a gauze pad or a part of nylon pantyhose extended over your finger. Some dogs build up periodontal disease and this painful situation can cause in tooth loss and is a cause of illness for the rest of the body. Veterinarians can clean the teeth as a normal part of your dog’s health plan. The other problem is bad breath, most of the people may object to our pet’s bad breath. Bad breath is most usually a sign that a veterinarian is required for a dental check up. Plaque caused by bacteria results in a bad smell that need expert care to treat. It is not enough to just brush the teeth once the smell is noticeable. So put a toothbrush into their dog Christmas stockings this year! Following a professional cleaning, the teeth and gums can be keep healthy with regular brushing.
